Jim Esinhart, PhD

Dr. Jim Esinhart joined Chiltern in 2006 and, before his role as CEO, served as the senior vice president of global scientific services. In that role, he was responsible for managing global biometrics, medical and regulatory affairs, and information technology. Esinhart was a founding employee for PharmaResearch Corporation, which through acquisition by Inveresk Research, later became part of Charles River Laboratories Clinical Services. At Charles River, Esinhart was vice president of global medical data sciences. Previously he held a professorship at East Carolina University School of Medicine. Esinhart graduated with a Bachelor of Science in statistics from Radford University, Virginia, and earned a doctorate in biostatistics from The Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University. He is based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Esinhart is a member of the Chiltern Board of Directors.
